As the newly elected President of The Torrance Police Officers Association, I would like to take a few moments to welcome you to our web site and let you know a little bit about our association and our mission.   Our association represents 237 sworn police officers. We are extremely involved in our community and we are very happy to bring our citizens community outreach programs such as the famous Santa Float that visits every neighborhood during the Christmas season. We are a non profit organization and routinely donate to local youth sports organizations and local high schools.  We are proud to award financial scholarships to five graduating seniors from local high schools each year.  The men and women of the Torrance Police Officer's Association are dedicated to your safety and we encourage you to seriously consider supporting any candidates we endorse for public office.  Our endorsement of these candidates is not taken lightly and we believe that the support of candidates who understand the importance of public safety is critical.
